Search Assistant: PPC & SEO
JWT is looking for someone with an understanding of the PPC marketplace and the ability to efficiently plan and implement media plans as well as execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies on client websites. This position is the perfect mix of art and science: blending technical knowledge and analytical skill with creativity and imagination in JWT���s own laboratory of human behavior.

OK. Enough about the job. We want to hear about you:
You are that one unique individual that can handle both the creative and technical demands of this position equally well. You understand marketing but you also have a working knowledge of technology and programming. You are intensely curious and love to learn about how people behave online. The other kids on your block wanted to be ballerinas or reality television starts but you wanted to be a detective. You watch Mythbusters instead of American Idol because you really need to know if diving underwater will actually protect you from bullets.  Your organizational skills border on OCD. You organize your closet by color, season, and feel of material while your CD���s are arranged first by genre and then alphabetically---and never out of order. I think you get the picture.

Complete campaign management: planning PPC media campaigns and competitive research
Efficiently managing media inventory, billing, and reconciliation
Helping to create and deliver campaign overview analysis in a timely fashion
Executing  media deliverables and ensuring the timely delivery of all client requirements
Initiating and developing media plans for advertising budgets, integration plans and pitches
Understanding searcher behavior and activity as it relates to online media consumption
Working with interdepartmental teams to integrate campaign learning
Regular input of ideas for best practices and process improvement
Campaign management: planning and executing SEO campaigns & competitive research
Helping to create and deliver campaign overview analysis in a timely fashion
SEO keyword research and copywriting
Analyzing data to understand user behavior and create actionable recommendations
Supporting Account Managers in client interactions: setting expectations for media deliverables and ensuring the timely delivery of all client requirements

Familiarity or experience with SEO and/or PPC
Organizational and analytical skills
Outstanding follow-through, time management and planning skills
Ability to write specifications, marketing copy, and other business documents
Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and clients
Programming or web design skills a plus

Candidates with one or more of the following skills will have an advantage:
SEO and/or PPC experience
Account service, project management skills or a marketing background
Education: Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or Economics
Superior Excel skills: (Macros, Pivot tables, custom graphing, etc)
Programming or web design skills
