Apache Pulsar is a rapidly growing and evolving technology. In this talk, Apache Pulsar PMC Chair Matteo Merli shares how current initiatives will help to streamline the Apache Pulsar architecture, making it independent of any particular metadata system. To achieve this, the Pulsar community has been working on developing an abstract metadata access layer to break the Zookeeper dependency.
