Camping at Salt Point State Park

Details
Overnight camping for the Salt Point Tidepools and Rocks day (https://www.meetup.com/SF-Bay-Area-Geology-Hiking/events/16826012/). I have reserved two sites which can hold eight people each.
When we get closer to the date, we can figure out if any of us will be there early enough to do some hiking before dinner (I'll probably be getting there sometime between 5 and 7:00), but we'll at least have a campfire together (telling scary rock stories?), and probably just a relaxed morning waiting for the Saturday folks to arrive (Saturday event starts at 10:00).
Be sure to RSVP for the Saturday event as well. Links on that page will take you to more information about the park.
The price of $7 includes the campsite, but you'll need to pey extra for your car (only one car is included in the reservation fee). Let's try to carpool if we can--leave a note with your RSVP with your locaion and approximate departure time if you can ride/drive in a carpool.
Since I already had to pay for the site, there are no refunds once you pay, so please RSVP only when you are sure you can make it. If we get a waiting list, I'll reserve another site (if available) and then increase the attendance size. If you have a trailer/RV you are driving up with, feel free to make your own reservation (www.reserveamerica.com), because we won't be able to fit it in the space at the campsite I have reserved. We're staying in Gerstle Cove Campground at Salt Point State Park.
