Sunrise on Clouds Rest (moved to August in Night Photo Group)

The Half Dome hike has been split off as a separate event (https://www.meetup.com/NightPhotography/events/17187021/) since there are permit restrictions for Half Dome that do not apply to Clouds Rest. Both events are now being hosted in the Bay Area Night Photography (https://www.meetup.com/NightPhotography/events/17213187/) group. If you wish to attend, you will have to re-sign up on the Clouds Rest (https://www.meetup.com/NightPhotography/events/17213187/) (or Half Dome (https://www.meetup.com/NightPhotography/events/17187021/)) event. Not here!

Sorry for the difficulties. I created confusion by combining Half Dome with Clouds Rest and Meetup confounded the confusion by not allowing me as an Event Host to set limits and restrictions on the event itself.

This is not an event to be undertaken lightly as it is an arduous hike (though not quite as difficult as Half Dome).

Meanwhile I'll also be doing sunrise (https://www.meetup.com/SF-Bay-Area-Photographers-Explorers/events/10135621/) and sunset training hikes on bay area mountains (Mission Peak (http://blog.starcircleacademy.com/2011/04/mission-peak/) being my favorite).
