📌 Kevin Stein - CEO & Co-founder, Delos Insurance
Kevin Stein is the CEO of Delos Insurance, a startup Managing General Agent for homes in catastrophe regions. Delos’ AI wildfire risk models (patent-pending) are created by world-leading wildfire science professors and are vastly outperforming the rest of the industry. Delos uses these models to offer coverage to the millions of low-risk homes that the insurance industry mis-categorizes as high risk. Delos also leverages their analytics into a real-time risk mitigation service that helps homeowners protect themselves from a world of increasing catastrophes. Prior to Delos, Kevin spent his career designing satellites as an Aerospace Engineer. He holds a masters from Stanford in Aerospace Engineering and a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.

📌 Joshua Resnick - CEO, Parallel Flight Technologies
Joshua brings a passion for groundbreaking technology and years of hybrid and electric powertrain expertise to Parallel Flight Technologies. Prior to founding PFT, he led system architecture and electrical engineering for the Tesla Semi Truck program. Before moving to California, he led state-funded research for the State of Alaska developing hybrid electric commercial fishing boats. When he is not designing the future, Joshua enjoys flying RC helicopters and hiking.

📌 Vik Chaudhry - Co-founder + CTO + COO, Buzz Solutions
Vik Chaudhry is Co-founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Operational Officer at Buzz Solutions, an AI-powered Software Platform and Predictive Analytics for detecting faults and anomalies on power line assets and components for power utilities. Prior to launching Buzz, he was leading Machine Learning and AI teams at Cisco Systems. During his Master’s degree research, he was working on a technology to use drones to inspect and optimize wind turbines’ locations using Machine Learning and AI. This was the initial idea and technology for Buzz Solutions. He graduated with a Master’s degree from Stanford University, focusing on energy engineering and data science, machine learning, and AI technologies for the energy sector, specifically in smart grid technologies, demand response, clean energy technology, and energy efficiency.

📌 Cedric Snow - Senior Director: Risk Management, CSAA [MOD]
Cedric is the Senior Director for risk management at CSAA Insurance Group. He is responsible for all ceded and assumed reinsurance programs. Cedric has managed captive insurance operations, consisting of Ceres Re, the vehicle to house AAA partner club quota shares, and Pacific Beacon, AAA’s life reinsurance operation. Cedric is also responsible for the corporate insurance program. His first roles at CSAA were executed within the FP&A department, supporting IT, Marketing and Administration divisions. Cedric joined CSAA in June, 2012. Cedric’s experience includes 7 years at GeoVera Insurance Company as a VP of Finance, leading the personal lines catastrophe risk modeling, business planning and accounting teams. Immediately before joining CSAA IG, he worked for a surplus lines insurance broker, focusing on finance and insurance program development, including rate-making, writing the coverage form and marketing partnerships. He began his career with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and in his role as Finance Director he supported Agribusiness, Administration, IT and Customer Service divisions. Cedric has earned an MBA in Finance from Tulane University.
