Another month, another Mermaid Show to lure you to your death at sea! The mermaidiest comedians of the Bay Area slay with laughter and hilarity! Turning the tides of indifference: Each show collects donations and highlights a different charity organization geared toward helping women and vulnerable communities. This month we are collecting for CONCRN, https://www.concrn.org/. Concrn provides a compassionate alternative to 911 for people experiencing mental health crisis, homelessness and substance abuse issues. They have developed a mobile crisis reporting app where compassionate peer responder teams are deployed to serve as a model for intervention that reduces the burden on emergency services while activating communities in a more humane way.
