Will update with specific talk info soon - but main focus will be covering WordCamp Miami (what you need to know) and answering any questions. If you have a topic or what to talk about something let us know!

NOTE: Our location has changed for this meetup. It's still at Nova Southeastern University but will be in a DIFFERENT BUILDING: Alvin Sherman Library
3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd
Fort Lauderdale – Davie, FL 33314

Talk Info:

"Managing Multiple WordPress Websites in 2017" (Steve Alig)

With plugin, theme and core updates coming out on a continual basis, keeping your websites updated and secure can be a daunting task. Steven’s presentation will focus on tools and processes to ease the burden of managing multiple WordPress websites and keeping everything secure, backed up and safe.

--------------

We will also be talking WordCamp Miami previews, plus maybe some prizes... and our usual Top 9 slides.

Got a question? Something to talk about? Bring it to the meetup!

http://sherman.library.nova.edu/sites/directions/ This building is literally almost right next to the DeSantis Building we've been going to for years.

We will be in Room 2053.

PARKING: We are looking to see if we can get parking passes. It's going to be a further walk from our usual lot so right now we are recommending parking in the PARKING GARAGE that is close to the DeSantis and Library buildings. Parking first floor is $1/hour. Will update as we learn more.

FOOD: David Bisset will not be there that evening, but right now assume we'll be doing pizza and drinks. Up to a $5 donation is greatly appreciated, and please let us know if you WILL NOT be eating.

LIBRARY STUFF: (Note from Michael) The WiFi is the same here as it is in DeSantis so you won't need to change any settings. The building is open until 11p.m., so we won't necessarily be rushed out. The library is located between DeSantis and the University Center. There's a deli inside that's really pretty good, also coffee - and Starbucks is a short walk away in the UC. Fun fact: the library website is mostly Angular and WordPress.
