What are your photography subject areas (e.g. landscape, portrait, etc.)?

Mainly landscape, trees, water, abstracts, rocks, flowers, etc. Occasionally portraits. I like to capture anything on a photo that looks beautiful and evokes an emotional response.

Do you do B&W or color or both types of photography? What film do you use? If you use traditional darkroom, what developers do you use?

Both color and B&W. I use Fuji Provia 100F for color and Fuji Acros for B&W in QuickLoad envelopes.

Do you use digital techniques (scanning, Photoshop, digial printing, etc.) for producing the prints or you use traditional darkroom or both? What digital printers and papers do you use? What traditional darkroom chemisty and papers do you use?

I get my transparencies and negatives scanned, use Photoshop on a profiled monitor and then print digitally on a digital printer profiled for the specific paper, ink and printer combination.

What type of LF camera(s) do you use (e.g. 4x5" Arca Swiss)? It's perfectly okay to join this group even if you don't have an LF camera yet.

I primarily use Arca Swiss 4x5. I use Arca Swiss 6x9 when constrained by space and/or weight.

What Atul M. is saying about this Meetup Group

This is the only group in the San Francisco Bay Area that exclusively caters to large format (LF) photography. A relatively small number of LF photographers (LFers) face very different challenges and think differently about photography compared to a very large number of digital shooters. Without a meetup group like this, it would be very hard for this small group of people to talk about LF-related issues and share their unique experiences with other like minded people. I have attended other photography meetups in this area and it would have been impossible to discuss LF-related topics in those gatherings.
