Please indicate whether you are already an LF photographer or would like to get started in LF photography in near future. You don't need to own LF camera gear to join this group.

I like to discuss what works in a photograph and how it could have been improved. I am also interested in discussion locations but less in the type of "equipment to use"

What are your photography subject areas (e.g. landscape, portrait, etc.)?

Usually the intimate landscape (influenced by Elliot Porter) but will do abstract, macro, and the occasion "grand landscape" when moved--but always outdoor

Do you do B&W or color or both types of photography? What film do you use? If you use traditional darkroom, what developers do you use?

Color photography is primarily scanned e6 (EPR,Provia) with my Eversmart Pro2, for B&W it's TMAX in TMAX RS

Do you use digital techniques (scanning, Photoshop, digial printing, etc.) for producing the prints or you use traditional darkroom or both? What digital printers and papers do you use? What traditional darkroom chemisty and papers do you use?

scanning negatives and slides with Eversmart Pro2 and printing on Epson 4800

What type of LF camera(s) do you use (e.g. 4x5" Arca Swiss)? It's perfectly okay to join this group even if you don't have an LF camera yet.

in order of most use: 4x5 Arca Swiss, 6x9 Arca Swiss (rollfilm), 8x10 Kodak Masterview

I started my own photography business in 1966 but got serious when I got my first view camera and have photographed across the US and internationally. Living in TX and OH affected my vision until my move to CA to live 25 years near Death Valley
