Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Movie meetup - no reading required!)

Please join us as we watch ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (view the trailer (https://youtu.be/sC9abcLLQpI)), the highly anticipated Star Wars prequel (set before Episode IV), directed by Gareth Edwards, with the screenplay written by Chris Weltz and Tony Gilroy. The film stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker, and Riz Ahmed.

A rogue band of resistance fighters unite to steal the Death Star plans and bring new hope to the galaxy. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" takes place before the events of "Star Wars: A New Hope" and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know.

We will not be seeing the movie in in 3D or IMAX.

We'll be seeing the movie at Regal Springfield Town Center (with amazingly comfortable reclining seats). We've pre-booked our tickets at a discounted price. The first 28 attendees that pay for a ticket will have theirs reserved. After that, you'll have to buy your ticket independently if available and may not be sitting with the group.

We'll be attending the 12:40 PM showtime at Regal Springfield Town Center. Since this is opening weekend, we require that you buy your ticket in advance through us by clicking the Pay link at the top of this page (or through the app), using a credit card or PayPal account. You must arrive no later than 12:30 PM to retrieve your ticket from us.

We ask that you please meet up with the group before the movie so we can accurately take attendance. If you arrive before 12:30, we'll be distributing pre-purchased tickets on the landing outside the large glass doors at the theater entrance. After that prior to the showtime, we'll be taking our assigned seats in the theatre. If you arrive late, we'll re-congregate after the movie immediately outside our theatre room.

Lastly, we do ask that if you attend a movie screening with us, that you please refrain from talking during the movie or disrupting the experience for other guests. We want everyone in the group to be able to hear and enjoy their movie experience, and we also would like to maintain a positive relationship with the theatre, so your cooperation is appreciated. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss the movie during dinner.
