What we’re about
If you are interested in meeting local SFV atheists and freethinkers for conversation and friendship, this is the group to join! We are a fun group, with some very great people. Our group will give you the sense of community that you might be seeking in your atheistic life!
We welcome atheists, agnostics, skeptics, freethinkers, rationalists, humanists of any flavor, and anyone else who embraces reason and a naturalistic view of the universe.
Our mission is to build thriving atheist communities, empower people to express their secular values, and promote the separation of government and religion.

Death Valley: 2025 Atheist Adventure (Camping Trip)
Furnace Creek Campground (Group Campsites), Furnace Creek , CA, USGrab your family, friends, and tents for an unforgettable camping adventure in the largest national park in the continental United States.
GET TICKETS HERE: https://events.humanitix.com/death-valley-2025-atheist-adventure
Known for its sizzling summer heat and colorful spring blooms, Death Valley is one of the most extreme spots on planet Earth and offers outstanding views of the Milky Way on a clear, moonless night. Death Valley is also a hiker’s paradise with an eclectic mix of slot canyons, salt flats, sand dunes, and colorful rock formations.
All atheist adventures include a pre-planned group sightseeing itinerary and a Saturday evening science talk under the stars. This year, we're hosting former park ranger Kristin Hindershot, who will present on "The History of Women in Astronomy!"
Tickets do not include meals or park fees. Everyone is also responsible for their own camping gear (tents, lights, coolers, etc.). Get tickets now to reserve a spot in our group campsite!
We do not recommend you bring your pets. Here are Death Valley's pet policies.
__At Atheists United, we are committed to creating safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environments at all of our events. By participating in this event you agree to follow behavior outlined in our Event Code of Conduct Policy and Dog Policy.

•OnlineNEW Zoom ID# : Game Night - No praying required
OnlineCode Names is the game of choice for the next few meetings.
We open at 6:30 so that newcomers can have time for a tutorial; the first game starts promptly at 7 pm.
It ends when the group agrees—typically around 9—there’s no definite end time. If you log-in late, you can always cheer the players on and still be able to play in the second game of the night. This is a virtual meeting but this doesn't mean the beer has to be virtual - so be sure to sip a nice ale (or whatever you enjoy) as you participate.
No prizes for winning but the honor of doing so can be overwhelming.
(This event is cross-listed and not being led or organized by Atheists United staff/volunteers)

(Cross Posting) Political Talk Meetup in Woodland Hills
Panera Bread, 6344 CA-27 Suite 1090, Woodland Hills, CA, USHey, it's Klaus. This is a cross-posting of a group that I enjoy:
https://www.meetup.com/Political-Talk-in-the-San-Fernando-Valley/events/274789584/
We’ll follow the “90 degree Fahrenheit rule”, that we invented:
If the outside temperature is forecasted to be 90 degree or higher, we’ll inside. If it’s 89 degrees or lower we’ll meet outside.
If you can't find us, leave a comment here, as one of us receives meetup notifications instantly. Many of our Atheist friends participate in this fun meetup and it's always good to gain some new political alleys.
Contact Klaus with any questions.
