SGV AI and Machine Learning: Monthly Meeting

Details
This is the San Gabriel Valley AI and Machine Learning Group's regular monthly meeting. We cater to everyone from the curious to the professional.
This month we have a special presentation by Sean Marquez.
The Imitation Game - Text Generation with LSTMs
Recurrent Networks can be used to remember long sequences of data by using what’s called a Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) network. We'll explore how to build an LSTM network in Tensorflow to generate text after training on a data set, such as awarded grant abstracts. You'll learn how an LSTM cell works programmatically and how you can parse a similar dataset.
As always, we will have AI in the News, and members are always encouraged to talk, explain, demo, or present on any topic between 5 and 15 minutes.
WE WANT SPEAKERS! If you want to talk please e-mail braddock@braddock.com . Talks can be any length and at any levels.
Time will be available to socialize, collaborate, network, or eat (optional).
Please join our Slack channel and mailing list at http://sgvai.org
