About us
We are an affiliate of the American Humanist Association. We are here to be a beacon of reason for those that consider themselves secular, atheist, agnostic, humanist, and/or a free thinker. If you are searching for a place to ask questions, you have found it. If you are searching for an inclusive group that is here to listen and not to judge, you have found it. We stand on the side of equality, not division. The side of science, not pseudoscience. You do not have to agree with everything everyone says, but we do expect kindness, compassion, and civility from all that participate in our events.
Please join us. We would love to meet you!
**Not sure whether or not you're a Humanist? "Humanism is a nontheistic worldview with ethical values informed by scientific knowledge and driven by a desire to meet the needs of people in the here and now. At the foundation of those values is an affirmation of the dignity of every human being." - The American Humanist Association

OUTfest *Updated*
5th and Main, 500 Main Street, Lafayette, IN, US**Updated!**
We’ll be located at spot B35, across the street from the Lobby, near Main and 6th. Map here.I’ll be setting up at 1:30, but the festival itself will begin at 4. There will be a drag show that begins at 9:30. There are live bands, a kids areas, food vendors, and lots and lots of local vendors supporting our LGBTQIA community!! It’s always a ton of fun… even when it’s 90+ degrees outside!!
Our booth will have 4 chairs (feel free to BYO!), chilled water (for members!), and information about voter registration and our group (for attendees).
Tickets are $10/adult, if you purchase them in advance (ends August 14th), $15 at the gate. As noted in the comments, you can volunteer with Pride for the event and get free admittance. *I’m sorry, but RSVPing to this event here does not mean you will get in free because we have a booth*
Please note, RSVPing to this doesn’t mean you have to stay and work the booth or attend the entire event! If you want to stop by and sit under the tent for a bit, or you just want a place to leave your stuff while you walk around… we’ll be there!!
