According to Villanova University, some of these core skills include: 1. Written and verbal communication, which includes technical writing skills 2. Understanding concepts of systems 3. The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis 4. Writing business cases 5. Modelling techniques and methods 6. Leadership. Toastmasters is the best community forum for developing and improving leadership and communication skills. Toastmasters had recently revamped its program with the Pathways education program. Toastmaster members can choose from 10 paths to build on important skills for business analysts. These paths include: 1. Motivational Strategies 2. Presentation Mastery 3. Team Collaboration 4. Dynamic Leadership 5. The Society of Internet Professionals (SIP) is a not-for-profit, membership based organization to connect, learn and share. Our Vision is to provide the opportunity to access knowledge and leverage technology with objective to enhance and promote professionalism. Since 1997, SIP has spearheaded many initiatives, educational programs, and networking events. We are rebranding with a new mandate and programs on our 20th Anniversary in 2017.
