What we’re about
This Meetup group started in 2009 and primarily focused on sports leagues and 1-day tournaments. Things have changed quite a bit since then but we still place a heavy focus on sports and outdoor recreation. Our most popular events over the past few years have been activities such as happy hours, kickball, Escape Rooms, Big Ball (a sport I invented in college), mini-golf, ultimate frisbee, trivia, bowling, wine tasting and more.
Most of our events throughout the year are outside since it is easier to find places for large groups of people, along with the fact that it's usually cheap or free too. We're always open to suggestions from our members so we can make sure we're having events for everyone. Please be advised that some of our events have an age restriction of 21 and older as they will be located in bars & pubs throughout the city.
The main focus of the group is being active, having fun and meeting new people. Hope you can help make us one of the best Meetup groups in Pittsburgh!
