"Architectural Photography for the Rest of Us" with Jeff Milsteen

Details
Most presentations on architectural photography come from a commercial photographer's point of view. But what if you don't have a paying client, fancy equipment, an art director or a lighting specialist, and instead just enjoy taking photographs of buildings and other structures? This Learnshop will present a more practical approach for "the rest of us" who just enjoy photographing interiors and exteriors of some of the amazing (and not so amazing!) structures that we encounter at home or while traveling, using the most basic photography equipment.
Architectural photography is as old as photography itself, and is a great genre of photography for photographers of all levels of expertise, including beginners. Join Jeff Milsteen for insights on how he approaches architectural subjects, from grand structures to humble shacks, and takes photographs of one of his favorite subjects.
Please note:
This month's Learnshop will be on-line, and the ZOOM link will be emailed the day before the event to all who RSVP.

SPS has three standing meetings each month for its members and guests. The First Friday Program and Competition features an outside speaker and a members' image competition. While competition entries at these monthly meetings are restricted to currently paid-up members, we ALWAYS welcome visitors interested in photography to attend. The Learnshops (fourth Tuesdays) and Coffee & Critique (second Saturdays) are intended for members, but again, we welcome visitors. If you attend regularly, we ask that you help support the club (which pays for the rental of the facilities, supplies, and equipment) by becoming a member!
