Food, Drinks will be provided!

SQL Social brings together Database & BI professionals, industry experts and those with an appetite for learning more about data & information management, in a relaxed atmosphere to network, share ideas, impart knowledge, and have a great time whilst doing so.

We will provide you with plenty of food and drinks for the evening, all thanks to our fantastic sponsors (see below). Networking

At SQL Social, our aim is to give YOU the opportunity to meet with MVPs, well-known speakers, experienced professionals & industry experts and ask them about the data-related topics that matter to you. It is an opportunity to meet new people, make new friendships and find out what is going on in the data industry in Melbourne.

This Month's Speaker and Topic

Marco Russo

Marco Russo (http://sqlblog.com/blogs/marco_russo/) is a Business Intelligence consultant and mentor. His main activities are related to data warehouse relational and multidimensional design. He has spoken at international conferences such as Ignite, PASS Summit, SQLRally, and SQLBits. Marco is also the author of several books about Analysis Services, Power Pivot, and DAX.

Marco's session will be very interactive and take some direction from the audience to help get answers to your Power BI questions. As Power BI is so big, we'll focus on the data models and relationships to get things going - however if you have something specific you'd like to ask Marco then please email us in advance so that he can get some opportunity to prepare.
