This is your chance to give back to the trail and experience trail building with an experienced crew. Join the crew for a day or all week as they work to complete the a new segment of trail within Iron County Forest. The crew will be constructing several bridges along this spectacular segment that parallels the Potato River between Upson Lake and Foster Falls. Commute or experience camp life by camping one or more nights. The crew camps in beautiful locations (not in campgrounds) and provides the base camp setup, including hot shower, privy, kitchen, etc. While camping, experience good conversation and comaraderie, campfires, dark skies and star gazing, and an opportunity to take a short evening hike on a nearby portion of the trail. Food is provided.
What to bring: All personal sleeping arrangements, clothing for work and camp (all expected weather), work boots and gloves, bug dope, day pack with minimum 2 L water capacity, etc. Contact Bill for a suggested gear check list.
