Description

If you’ve been hearing about web components and wondering how you can harness their power in your day-to-day Angular development, this talk is for you. Angular Elements are normal angular components packaged as custom elements. By transforming a component to a custom element, you can unlock reusability across teams/projects regardless of preferred JS framework and use your Angular component in tons of environments. We’ll walk through creating a custom element using Angular Elements and using the element inside non-Angular environments like a React or Vue app. Come find out if it’s as easy as they say!

About the Speaker

Beth Carretto is a UI Engineer at Bullhorn, where she works with Angular to build pretty cool products. Prior to her current role, she developed in a variety of JS frameworks and Ruby on Rails at St. Louis companies Upside and Intoximeters. She has a cat, a dog, and draws a mean whiteboard diagram.
