Why are you interested in Climate Change?

It's a subject I've been interested in for a very long time and I think it's just about the most serious problem facing humanity today. I've felt this way ever since reading "The End of Nature" by Bill McKibben. I've written on the topic and get the Climate Progress blog. It is a very important topic for me and is my major "soapbox" issue.

What do you hope to gain from participating in this group?

I just want to hear what the speaker has to say on this.

I'm a retired DNR environmental engineer and an a nature lover at heart.
