This month we'll take a break from our regular hack & hangout meetings to feature a great talk by Brian Hicks on cutting edge testing; free yourself from boring unit and integration tests and let your computer generate the tests for you! Food & drink will be provided. RSVP and join us!
Property Testing: Find More Bugs!
What if your test cases would write themselves, and find new bugs without you having to modify them? Property testing can do that! Instead of writing a suite of examples, we'll write one or two properties and let guided random value generation find more edge cases than we would think of ourselves, plus shrink them down to the simplest possible failing case. We'll talk about how to find good properties, how (and when) to write your own custom generators, and how to use this technique in your favorite language.
## NOTE ABOUT PARKING ##
