You’re invited to a very special iOS meetup! We will look into Reverse Engineering & iOS Security, and Binary Bestiary with our guests.

Still taking place at STRV but this time including speakers from outside of our team and partially even from outside of the Czech Republic. Together, we’ll be diving a bit deeper into iOS development while keeping practical use in mind.

Cyril Cermak - Introduction Into Reverse Engineering & iOS Security
“Reverse-engineering is the act of dismantling an object to see how it works.” Black box testing, runtime manipulation and tempering are all part of it. In this talk, we will bypass some security measures implemented by engineers in the app runtime and discuss the precautions to take care of in day-to-day development.

Kamil Borzym - Binary Bestiary
"Binary Bestiary" is an ancient compendium of binary structures from iOS/macOS executables. Illustrated pages describe various mythic binary beasts. I will show you a fragment of this mysterious book* as well as some assembly and useful tips for your daily work.
* There is no such book, just wanted to create a dark atmosphere.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and we’ll be kicking the event off promptly at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to hang around all the way until 10 p.m.
