SESSION 1 - "Omnichannel Retail: Personal and contextual experiences" with Ishraq Al Fataftah (Sitecore MVP): Convenience shopping experience is what will drive marketing and operations in the retail industry. Whether it is a mobile app purchase or a self-check-in for rushing customers inside the store, providing a seamless integration between all these different channels can help increase your up-selling and cross-selling rates. Sitecore Commerce delivers a personalized experience to visitors and customers from the moment they land to your website, products browsing and reviews, to check-out process. It is very important to unify the process across all channels and referrals to your website. Using Sitecore xDB, user profiles can be built with proper scoring for users with more propensity to buy. I’ll show how to focus on this using additional tools such as segments lists and targeted campaigns and other channels such as social media campaigns and push notifications in stores.
SESSION 2 - "SXA Nuptial Experiment" with Rodrigo Peplau (Sitecore MVP): “You’re not supposed to do this way” - An experiment made SXA upside down. SXA can highly speed up Sitecore implementation. You can build pages as wireframes, then use Creative Exchange for Front-End Developers. But what if you have a, approved, pre-built Bootstrap Template and want to implement it with SXA? This experiment describes the pains and gotchas learned during the execution of this mission.
