There's more - we have a special venue! Big thanks to our sponsors PROTIVITI who are providing refreshments and a meeting space in the London SHARD!

OVERVIEW
This presentation will provide an overview of the just released (in July 2018) of the SAS Press book: “Data Management Solutions Using SAS® Hash Table Operations: A Business Intelligence Case Study.”
Hash tables are a very powerful and flexible data structure. Most SAS applications of hash tables focus on just one of their many powerful facilities: table lookup. Hash tables are a fantastic table lookup tool and their use for that should never be diminished. They can be used for so much more, e.g.:
Has many of the features of an in memory data base
Can be used for data aggregation at multiple levels
Are easily parameterized
Memory constraints are not a deal breaker
Can often be more efficient than standard SAS approaches to data management
The presentation will include selected examples from the book.
