Growing a New Immune System

Greg Fahy, PhD, is the first person known to regrow his thymus. Why did he do that? We each lose our thymus around puberty, and from then on, our T-Cell repertoire declines year by year. After age 65, deaths due to flu and pneumonia skyrocket, and Dr. Fahy is not satisfied to stand by and let this happen.

He will be announcing his new company to enable others to regrow their thymuses, and will be describing some of the biology behind it (at a level comprehensible to non-immunologists). Hint: the "T" in T-cell is from thymus.
