Nordic Walk
A Freedom Passport (FP) is required to book this walk. FPs are obtained by completing the 'Learn to Nordic Walk' 4 session course. This is a series of walks on circular routes approx 3-4km within and around the Historic Estate of Dunham Massey, most will start at the Clock Tower inside the park. We will use Gears 1 and 2 with Gear 3 optional for those who want to push themselves. Recommendations: 1 suitable clothing - layers are best 2 a small rucksac 3 light refreshments (water, fruit juice, etc) 4 Mobile phone is useful for any last minute changes 6 Walk Leaders mobile number 7 Suitable walking shoes - waterproof is best with good flexibility The walk includes a short mobilisation of joints prior to walking and a cool down stretch at the end. Toilets: located close to start and finish location. Refreshments: why not join us for a bevvy after the walk in The Stables (or Visitor Centre Cafe if closed) Pole Rental: £2/session (please email/text the Walk Leader when booking if you would like to hire poles). Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a session credit to be applied. Cancellations inside of 24 hours will be charged in full. Turn your walk into a workout with Nordic Walking.
