What we're about

Get together with other hikers with kids. If you have an idea for a hike and would like some company, everyone is welcome to initiate an activity and we’ll gladly post it. “Plan the hike and they will come". Our average hike is generally 2-5 miles and there is usually a nice lake or picnic area for folks to stop short and catch us on the return if our little hikers would rather collect pine cones or chase lizards. We also do less hikey stuff like picnics, roller skating, swimming, etc. All ages are welcome. A brief BIO and your PICTURE are required. We do not require a fee to participated, but if you'd like to contribute to help offset our expenses, we sure appreciate it. Enjoy!

Muir Beach

Take in a scenic sunset and enjoy the warmth of a bonfire on the beach! Muir Beach changes the number of fire pits it has seasonally. May through November, the beach offers 6 fire pits, and in the colder months (December through April), there are 3 fire pits on the beach toward the south end of the parking lot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muir_Beach,_California https://www.nps.gov/goga/learn/management/images/ocean-beach-fire-pic.jpg?maxwidth=1200 Keep in mind that the beach closes 1 hour after sunset.
