What we're about

Based in Golden, Colorado, Centers for Spiritual Living™ is a global community comprised of more than 400 spiritual communities in 30 countries. These communities teach a New Thought philosophy that brings religion and science together and offers spiritual tools to transform personal lives and help make the world a better place. This is done through the study and practice of Science of Mind® and Spirit, also known as Religious Science®, which holds that all life is sacred—that each human being is an expression of God.

We believe in Cause and Effect and teach that “it is done unto you as you believe.” In essence, our thinking and expectations create our reality. Our teachings incorporate the ancient wisdom of spiritual traditions through the ages. People of all spiritual paths — Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, and others — are welcome in our communities.

We cultivate the experience of a personal relationship with the Creator; promote a community of tolerance, understanding and respect; provide classes, programs, prayer and meditation; and advocate a safe spiritual community of like-minded people interested in living a spiritual life.

Join the conversation. Change your thinking; change your life; bless the world!

Sunday Services 10:30 a.m. 6035 Main Avenue, Orangevale CA.

Healing Circle

The NADA Protocol The History: In the mid-1970s, Michael Smith, a medical doctor at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx area of New York, modified an existing system of auricular acupuncture into a simple technique for the treatment of many common drug addictions and as an alternative to methadone. The NADA Protocol: This selection of ear points proved to be extremely effective in the treatment of addictions, and in 1985 Dr. Smith founded the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) and the treatment became known as the “NADA protocol.” Further research showed that the protocol was also effective in the treatment of insomnia, depression, stress, anxiety, and PTSD. The Points: The NADA protocol, as it exists today, consists of the insertion of small, stainless-steel, disposable acupuncture needles into five points on the outer surface of a person’s ear. The points used in the NADA protocol are Sympathetic, Shen Men, Kidney, Liver, and Lung. The Treatment: Participants sit in chairs in a circle as they receive the treatment. Sitting in a circle is very significant - no beginning nor end. The circle allows the energy to flow much easier, supporting each other with our intention. The treatment lasts about 40 minutes.
