Outdoor Sacramento Metro

Welcome to Outdoor Sacramento Metro!

This is a group for outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the many outdoor opportunities around Sacramento and the Bay Area. We are primarily a Bike, Hike, Ski, Paddle group, but we embrace anything that gets folks outside.

Group dues are voluntary. It takes time and money to run these groups. If you enjoy our event(s), please consider making a donation to the group.

A few group rules.

1. Respect the outdoors: Follow all rules and regulations. Littering will get you banned.
2. Respect each other: This group strives to provide positive outdoor experiences for ALL.  Part of respecting others means taking safety precautions for yourself and coming prepared (equipment/skill/conditioning).
3. Low Drama: No partisan national politics; Just don’t it.
4. No firearms. No exceptions.
5. Be safe and take care of yourself: Your safety is your responsibility. Nothing ruins a trip like an injury/rescue. If you’re on a bike wear a helmet. If you’re on a watercraft wear a PFD.
6. Don’t be that guy.
