We'd like to welcome you to our FREE weekly Sahaja Yoga meditation meetings.
We are all volunteers of a Charity organisation and have many years of experience in offering free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes. All the meetings and classes are free of any charge. Each week we go through simple meditation techniques, often with guided meditations to help reduce stress and achieve the peace of true meditation. We share tips on how to help stay in balance during the day and how to meditate at home.
The meditation is based on connecting with the inner chakras (energy centres) and balancing the subtle body. The tradition and aims of meditation are explained which in essence is to be in the present with no mental activity or thoughts about the past or the future. The classes are designed to help those attending get into a genuine meditative state, which can be felt tangibly. It is quite effortless and spontaneous.
The free classes feature introductory talks, videos, practical workshops and general question and answer opportunities, making them perfect for seekers trying to establish a state of yoga. The idea is that you don't do yoga - you Achieve Yoga!
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple technique. It helps those who enjoy it, reduce stress and increase wellness. It brings better focus and helps people become more centered and better balanced. Anyone can do it.
Founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a world wide movement for peace and self awakening. All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable. It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it — everyone! It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically and cannot be paid for.

Some themes that we introduce and deepen during the courses;

  • What is meditation, and how to achieve it effortlessly?

  • How can we reawaken the childlike innocence and other vitial and eternal qualities within us again?
  • How to clear our energy centres and get rid of blockages?

In this course, you will get the answers to all these questions. Most importantly, you will experience the awakening of the Motherly energy Kundalini within yourself and the joyful state of thoughtless awareness – spontaneously through meditation!

For that, you don't need to pay anything or have any prior experience, but only a pure desire to know the true Self that is full of peace, joy, and love for others. We look forward to have a journey through this inner awakening and transformation with you, every Tuesday evening.

The focus of the course is the experience of meditation, vibratory awareness, through guided meditation. We will share knowledge about our subtle system – chakras, channels, and simple Sahaja Yoga techniques to balance ourselves and help us to go deeper into our meditation.

Our courses are suitable for everyone of all ages, no physical yoga, no prior knowledge or experience is required.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation was developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Sahaj means "spontaneous" or "born with you" and yoga translates as "union" (with the Divine or all-pervading power). Sahaja Yoga Meditation then translates as "the method of divine union through yoga which everyone is born with".
Kundalini is a subtle spiritual energy that lies dormant in the sacrum bone at the base of the spine in three-and-a-half coils. Through Sahaja Yoga, the Kundalini energy can be awakened spontaneously and effortlessly. This benevolent, nurturing energy, when awakened, passes upward through the nerve plexuses in the body and comes out of the top of the head at the fontanelle bone area. One can feel this energy as a cool breeze above the head, as well as in the palms of the hands. The gentle awakening of the Kundalini energy and the inner journey of self-discovery is known as Self-realization.
