Impromptu Roundtable
Details
We are going to do a working round-table this month instead of having a single presenter. That means the attendees will drive the discussion(s)! Last time we did this, there were discussions about parsing XML, text analysis, and modeling with xgboost.
Bring a laptop and get feedback on your current project from other useRs. Or share a problem you faced recently, and how you were able to solve it. (Don't worry if you think it wasn't hard enough to share The solution often seems obvious in hindsight, but the process of solving the problem is enlightening!)
Please offer suggestions for discussion in the comments!
The meetup will be held in the CIC building at 20 South Sarah Street, St. Louis, MO 63108. We will be in the Showroom. The building entrance is at the corner of Forest Park Avenue and Sarah Street. You can find directions at http://stl.cic.us/directions/ (CIC@CET).
We will get started at 6:00PM, and we usually wrap up around 7:30.
