Natural Language Processing with OpenNLP

I will use the OpenNLP package in R to do Named Entity Recognition (NER) on a news article to locate and classify named entities in unstructured text into common categories such as persons, organizations, and location.

The meetup will be held in the CIC building at 20 South Sarah Street, St. Louis, MO 63108. We will be in the Korte Boardroom (directly behind the Showroom). We will meet for snacks, set-up, and conversation at 6:00PM. The presentation will start at 6:30PM and will be about 60 minutes long.
