What we're about

Ever feel that there are many books you ought to have read but haven't? Let's tackle them together.

This is a group for people interested in reading classic literature and enriching their experience through conversation. We'll dust off Dostoevsky, Austen, and Melville, as well as others. Whether you haven't picked up a book since school or hold a literature degree, you are welcome and encouraged to join.

Our group meets once a month to have fun, unstructured conversations about the book we've read. If that sounds interesting, stop by!

See the list of books we've completed here. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vX5OEC5ugwycozw3qRUNbu4ID3VYVRcIT_8ODNTpkPM/edit?usp=sharing)

Dune (2nd half), Frank Herbert

Online event

For December, we're finishing Dune by Frank Herbert. We'll meet virtually via Zoom for our discussion. Once you click attend, you should see the link to join the call. Please let me know if you have questions. Bring questions, notes, and invite friends. We have unstructured but lively conversation for about an hour and wrap by choosing next month's book. Don't feel like you need to have finished the book to attend -- new faces, ideas, and opinions are welcome, regardless of how much you've read! Feel free to message with any questions before the date. I look forward to conversing with you all! Happy reading.
