Work Party on South Pyramid Trail

Are you passionate about working with rocks, mud and water and saving trails from extinction? Come out and work with SATA on rock armoring and water crossings on the beautiful South Pyramid Trail, part of the Old Cascade Crest Trail System! Meet at 10:00 am at the Lava Lake Meadow Road 2267, between mileposts 76 and 77 off Hwy 22 in Santiam Canyon--expect 1.5 hour drive from downtown Salem. Post here if you want to carpool. Please bring water, lunch, boots, gloves, eye protection, long pants and long sleeves. We have hard hats and tools to loan, or bring your own. Pro tip: bring a bike and go for an exploratory ride!
