Ravencoin is a blockchain and platform optimized for transferring assets, such as tokens, from one holder to another, and is built on a fork of the Bitcoin code. It is intended to prioritize security, user control, privacy, and censorship resistance. Additionally, it is open to use and development in any jurisdiction, while allowing simple additional features for users based on need.
Ravencoin is an open source project. Unlike other projects, most of the content about Ravencoin is community generated and managed, and the Salt Lake City group is only one of many Ravencoin community groups around the world. Come check us out and see what makes the this project and its community so amazing!
The August 28, 2020 meetup has been postponed (again). The facilities are not ready to bring in visitors. I've put March 19th, 2021 in as a placeholder, but hopefully we can have the meetup sooner.
Medici Ventures is proud to host the 3rd annual SLC Ravencoin Meetup on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Overstock Peace Coliseum in Salt Lake City, Utah. Guest speakers include Tron Black, Jeremy Anderson, and others will cover the current state of Ravencoin, how to issue assets and Restricted Assets, how the ecosystem is growing, and why communities are an essential part of crypto projects in general, and Ravencoin specifically.
Attendance is free and open to everyone. Pizza will be provided, so please RSVP if you plan on attending (or think that you will likely attend) so that we can get a semi-accurate headcount for ordering food.
The doors will open for attendees at 5:30 pm, and the event will go from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. There will be some time after the last Q&A session for community members to meet and greet with each other, but there will also be options for people to get together afterwards at local restaurants in the area.
Ravens assemble! KAAAAW!
