Ravencoin is a blockchain and platform optimized for transferring assets, such as tokens, from one holder to another, and is built on a fork of the Bitcoin code. It is intended to prioritize security, user control, privacy, and censorship resistance. Additionally, it is open to use and development in any jurisdiction, while allowing simple additional features for users based on need.
Ravencoin is an open source project. Unlike other projects, most of the content about Ravencoin is community generated and managed, and the Salt Lake City group is only one of many Ravencoin community groups around the world. Come check us out and see what makes the this project and its community so amazing!
Medici Ventures is proud to host the 2nd annual SLC Ravencoin Meetup on Friday, March 15th, 2019 at the Overstock Peace Coliseum in Salt Lake City, Utah. Guest speakers include Tron Black, Jeremy Anderson, Corbin Fox, and David Hoverman, and will cover the current state of Ravencoin, resources for becoming a block chain developer, how to use the Ravencoin Dev Kit, and why communities are an essential part of crypto projects in general, and Ravencoin specifically.
Attendance is free and open to everyone. Pizza will be provided, so please RSVP if you plan on attending (or think that you will likely attend) so that we can get a semi-accurate headcount for ordering food.
The doors will open for attendees at 5:30 pm, and the event will go from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. There will be some time after the last Q&A session for community members to meet and greet with each other, but there will also be options for people to get together afterwards at local restaurants in the area.
Ravens assemble! KAAAAW!
