If you're a Futuristic Geek who loves technology, data and cars - this is the challenge for you! Hack the Mazda data to come up with new products and ideas with the help of R&D mentors, and win a flight to Japan!

Mazda Hackathon – March 21st-22nd

The event will focus on creating new services for the connection between the Driver<>Mazda<>Local services.

Mazda representatives are looking for creative ideas and technologies that will focus on one or more of the following:

· Safety: A way to help Mazda's customers (drivers) remain calm at a critical moment (such as an accident)

· Security (Predictive Analysis): Predict and foresee car maintenance issues and provide solution, in order for Mazda's customers to enjoy trouble-free car life

· Comfort and Vehicle Value (UX/UI): Improve Man-Machine Interaction and turn the customer's "car life" to a pleasant experience.

Who can apply:

We’re looking for 15 talented teams of 2 to 5 members – either organic teams or early-stage-startups are welcome.

Your team will need to combine new and innovative products with data provided by the company (presented in the announcement event) in order to come up with solutions and ideas within the company’s requirements listed above.

Prize:

The winning team will win a flight to Hiroshima, Japan and will meet with Mazda management to explore new directions for future cooperation.

During the event, Mazda engineers and the judgment team will provide help and advice on your work.
