We are all story tellers – essentially, the heart of the roadmap is the story of how your company plans to meet the needs of your customer. A high value roadmap must speak to many audiences, generate excitement for funding, building and delivering the product while creating a sense of pride in your team. A good roadmap is a powerful tool that can help you create the influence you need when you lack direct authority (typical in most PDM positions).
With eight years’ experience in Product Management of compliance in a banking system, Eleanor Hopkins has a unique perspective on how to create a roadmap that will shape the future success of your product. Eleanor has created roadmaps, lead a team of product managers to craft a new style of roadmap and mentored her peers on roadmap development. During this presentation – Eleanor is going to share tips on creating and delivering a roadmap presentation that will have your audience at the edge of their seats on even the most mundane products!
