Intro to Writing Bitcoin Applications with Javascript!

• What we'll do
Eliran Zach is a Senior Software Engineer at Edge, which is a San Diego-based team that writes mobile applications for securing private data. Right now Edge's primary product offering is "Edge Wallet", which is a mobile application written in Javascript (React Native) and used to secure users' private keys.

Eliran will be conducting a workshop to go over the basics of how developers can create a Javascript project that interacts with the blockchain to perform related tasks.

We will connect to an online full Bitcoin node and be using the low-level Bitcoind API
Querying, building transactions, sending, and receiving.

• What to bring
A laptop with NodeJS installed, and optionally already have Bitcoind installed and set to testnet.

40 person attendee limit, bring your laptop!
