SD Central Knitters First Ever Trivia yarn giveaway!!

You have to answer all the trivia questions correctly! You will have until June 26, 2009 to answer. First person to get all the trivia answers correct wins! BUT you have to show up to June 27, 2009 meetup to get the yarn. Yes I am not beyond bribery to get you to attend :-)

Now for the yarn you will be trying to win.

One skein of Wollmiese twin 80% merino superwash 20% nylon in Kornblume. It?s a rich blue color, You get a whopping 510 yards in one skein. It is a sock weight yarn. Yes this is the coveted Wollmeise that if you ever followed the trainwreck threads on ravelry makes this yarn hard to get. But it is a lovely, lovely yarn. I made my first pair of socks out of this yarn. It?s wonderful. It is tightly woven and feels soft like cotton. So google away!!

1. Which actress starred in the original version of the movie 'King Kong', in 1933?

2. What was or is a Spiney Pear?

3. What's the only river that flows both north and south of the equator?

4. 10% (by weight) of the world's land animals are what species?
