Who is the riot grrrl holding the book?

I've been interested in feminism for a very long time. I'm interested in looking at generations of women through a feminist lens, especially my mother and her mother. Raised in a Roman Catholic house and attended Catholic school through 8th grade, I was raised to feel ashamed and embarrassed of my body and my self. An introduction to feminist ideas unleashed me from the shackles of shame. I've been focused on feminist ideas since.

Try to name three books that you feel discuss gender in some way. It doesn't matter if we already read them.

"Slut" by Leora Tananbaum "Oranges are Not the Only Fruit" by Jeanette Winterson "Fear of Flying" by Erica Jong

Hello, I would love to join your group. I am a therapist that works from a feminist perspective and have long been interested in feminism and it's history. I would love to connect with others and discuss!
