Below is the schedule for this meeting. Hope to see you there.
Introduction to Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) Using the PostSharp Framework (Jonathan Bachelor) - Level-up your software development skills by learning about aspect oriented programming with the PostSharp AOP framework. In a large project, you can save literally thousands of lines of repetitive, "boilerplate" code, which means powerfully fast results. We'll talk about what AOP is, where it might be used best, and how the PostSharp framework can help.
Windows 8.1 Store Development (Danny Warren) - The Windows 8.1 App stack is full of new and exciting APIs. We'll first cover some of the basics of Win 8.1 App development such as XAML and UI Design, DataBinding, Navigation and App Lifecycle. These are critical skills even experienced developers need to review. Plus get an intro into some of the advanced APIs like Location and Proximity. These features really help your Apps shine. We'll also have the opportunity to look at many of the topics in context of a real App in development. Bring you questions and ideas and we'll have a great time!
