Photoshop: The Power of Layer Masks - Part 2
By overwhelming demand, we're going to delve deeply into the Power of Layer Masks, Part 2. This is a continuation of Part 1, held on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 ( - If you did not attend Part 1, I'd encourage you to still attend - There will be a 15 minute review (with provided notes) before we dig into Part 2. One of the beauties of Photoshop is the ability to make changes locally, not just globally. Layer Masks are a powerful way to accomplish this, whether it is for contrast, color correction or sharpening . Discover how to get started with this wonderful feature. The cost to attend is $5 for this Meetup, payable when you RSVP online. A useful handout will be provided. Please note that in the interest of time, the focus will be on "Layer Masks", rather than other functions, tools, and concepts of Photoshop. This low-cost workshop is designed primarily for those fairly new to Photoshop, but it is also a good "refresher" course in the basics for those with a bit more experience. As this presentation is in a “seminar” format (via a digital projector), bringing your laptop is NOT recommended, due to limited space and time (tablets OK). Questions encouraged - I'll provide bottled water - Let's have some fun! RSVP early - We should finish by 8:30 PM - See you there! John Watts :-) ([masked]) Watts Digital Imaging (
