COME JOIN US FOR NEW running biomechanics solutions

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned runner training for races, come and join us! We have information and great practice drills that will help you perform better and stay injury free!

Come for the info, running analysis, practice time and special segment on Achilles tendonitis and Plantar fasciitis. But if you have anything else that bothers you, feel free to bring your problems and we will help you with a solution!

These are few quite common injuries that are frequently encountered by many runners. Let's look at these further ...

Achilles tendonitis usually involves pain and inflammation at the Achilles tendon, lower calf and upper heels.

Plantar fasciitis is usually experienced as pain on various parts of the lower heel and arch of the foot (most commonly at the posterio-medial portion of the heel, where the plantar fascia /aponeurosis is attached).

Both injuries are very common among sports that require a fair amount of jumping and impact landing. Since even slow jogging increases landing impact by at least 4 times over walking, these injuries are very commonly associated with running.

In our experience of treating runners, these injuries almost always have to do with muscular overuse of the lower leg, including calves and shins, as well as over impact of heels, poor elasticity of the arch of the foot, and very importantly, poor single leg balance and stability.

When a runner generates forces and buffer landing impact exclusively with movement of the feet and the lower legs, injuries are almost unavoidable.

SOLUTIONS: When we can take appropriate steps to re-train our body to generate forces with bigger groups of muscles, and to take the landing impact with a full-body elastic rebound system, many of the causes for Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis will automatically go away, and so will the symptoms.

Guess what? The same is true for many other running injuries! So whatever injury you may be experiencing, come and join us, and you will find helpful information and practices that help you overcome your pain and injury!

We will further explore how to use knowledge and movement mechanics to rid the injury and to recharge your running.

Let's enjoy our running, remain injury free......... and let us thank you for your interest and involvement!!
