San Diego Rust November Meetup - Beginner's Training Session
Details
Come join us downtown for food and fun while we continue learning Rust. We'll work together through Rust tutorial exercises from RustConf 2017 (http://www.rust-tutorials.com/RustConf17/). This session will focus on the basics of Rust, but users of all skill levels are welcome + appreciated! San Diego Rust meets the second Thursday of every month.
Free pizza and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) provided by güdTECH.
Parking:
Street parking on 6th, 7th & 8th Avenues north of B Street is usually easy at that hour.
Meters are free after 6. Be wary of signage if you park on A street.
Meeting Prep:
Bringing a laptop with the Rust compiler already installed (https://www.rust-lang.org/en-US/downloads.html) is highly recommended. If you don't have a laptop, no worries, we usually share a screen on projectors/TVs in the meeting space so everyone in a group can watch as the meeting exercise comes together.
