San Diego Rust May Meetup

Come join us downtown for food and fun while we continue learning Rust.

We'll be showing off a demo of a work-in-progress Flash Player emulator written in Rust! There will be discussion of how to compile a Rust app to both desktop and WebAssembly (using wasm-bindgen).

San Diego Rust meets the second Thursday of every month.

Free pizza and drinks (beer and non-alcoholic) provided by güdTECH.

Parking:

Street parking on 6th, 7th & 8th Avenues north of B Street is usually easy at that hour.

Meters are free after 6. Be wary of signage if you park on A street.

Meeting Prep:

A laptop with the Rust compiler already installed (https://www.rust-lang.org/learn/get-started) is highly recommended. If you don't have a laptop, no worries, we usually share a screen on projectors/TVs in the meeting space so everyone in a group can watch as the meeting exercise comes together.
