San Diego Rust March Meetup

Details
UPDATE:
Out of an abundance of caution related to SARS-CoV-2, we have decided to try telepresence for this month's meetup.
While it is regrettable that we won't be able to socialize in person with our regular attendees, we hope that this experiment may allow new folks to attend who might not have made it otherwise. The commute is a breeze ;)
We ask that you please update your RSVP in the same manner as if it was a physical meeting, and similarly endeavor to be punctual. We reserve the right to restrict access to the conference after it has begun to minimize disruptions. No-shows are bad for group morale, but it's easy to fix! Just update your RSVP :)
We will be circulating the conference link via the matrix room.
PLEASE JOIN THE MATRIX ROOM!

Are you a noob? That's ok! People of all skill levels are welcomed. We'll point you in the right direction and help get you started.
San Diego Rust meets the second Thursday of every month.
Be sure to join our Matrix chatroom for any questions about the meetup, or friendly banter about rust:

Meeting Prep:
A laptop with the Rust compiler already installed. Visiting https://www.rust-lang.org/learn/get-started is highly recommended. If you don't have a laptop, no worries, we usually share a screen on projectors/TVs in the meeting space so everyone in a group can watch as the meeting exercise comes together.
Meeting Agenda:
- Greet ( Lol, no pizza for tele-meetups )
- Short project presentations
- What's new in 1.42
- Recent developments in the embedded Async story
- General questions and educational assistance
