Transition Skills Clinic XTERRA WETSUITS Mission Bay Triathlon Prep
Hello Triathletes, Thank you for participating in our Triathlon Transition Clinic! We have complete beginners and well seasoned Triathletes attend these clinics. We encourage you to bring your friends (So many have doing a triathlon on their bucket list!) Everyone is invited to come, you do not have to be signed up for the XTERRA WETSUITS Mission Bay Triathlon or have all the latest and greatest equipment to attend! We do ask you to please RSVP for Free on this meetup page so we have enough staff and bike racks for everyone. Check in time is 7 am to 7:15, please have your bike and other equipment (listed below) at the meetup area before 7:20 am! Please bring the following for this Transition Clinic Swim (Wetsuit (if you have one), googles, swim cap, body glide, towel - swim suit or tri-suit, wear what you will wear in the race) Bike (Bike-yep you need it, helmet required, bike shoes, sun glasses) Run (running shoes preferably with easy laces, race belt/number if you have an old one, hat/visor) Please bring nutrition (water bottle + nutrition) Note on bikes and other equipment: As mentioned above please bring a bike, this can be any kind of bike. Road bikes are preferred for triathlons but many people use mountain or hybrid bikes. Also, please make sure you check your tires have air. Categories: • Sprint Triathlon: 1/2 K Swim, 15 K Bike, 5 K Run • Duathlon: 1 mile Run, 9 mile Bike, 3 mile Run • Aqua Bike: 500 meter Swim, 15K Bike • Relay teams of 2 to 3 persons can also sign up for the triathlon. The San Diego Triathlon Series has Free Training clinics for all levels of Triathletes. We want to help you do your very best!

The San Diego Triathlon Series (http://www.sdtriseries.com/) consists of 7 Triathlon / Duathlon / AquaBike Events throughout the year. The Spring Sprint Triathlon in May, The Carlsbad Triathlon in June, The San Diego International Triathlon in June, The Solana Beach Triathlon in July, the CVC San Diego Half Iron Tri August, The Rock the Bay Triathlon in September, and ending with The Xterra Wetsuits Mission Bay Triathlon in October. All SD Tri Series Events are USAT Sanctioned.
