We are a group of folks in San Diego County who are interested in learning more about vegan and/or plant-based cooking. Members can get together for vegan/plant-based cooking clubs and events and vegan/plant-based cooking classes will be posted. One idea is to have meetups where members share food costs/ingredients and create several meals for the coming week. Another is to attend cooking classes together, or just be informed about up-coming events. Another idea is to have casual and free cooking classes in homes.
A diverse set of six Bay Area chefs will demonstrate how to prepare their favorite plant-based holiday dishes. A moderator will interact with each chef and ask questions from the audience during the live demonstrations. Learn tips for reducing waste and the benefits of induction cooking, too. Includes emphasis on how eating impacts climate change and a sharing of cultural stories. This event features new chefs this year.
