ClickHouse August [Virtual] Meetup

Hello ClickHouse Fans,

Welcome to the August 2021 ClickHouse Meetup! We have the following great talks lined up.

• Building an observability platform with Clickhouse as storage -- Ankit Nayan, CTO of SigNoz. SigNoz is an open source alternative to DataDog, New Relic with support for OpenTelemetry. In this talk, we will discuss how we used Clickhouse as a single datastore for both metrics data and distributed tracing data and how different engines help in storing different data formats.

• Zookeeper is going away! -- Alexander Sapin, Yandex. Everyone who runs ClickHouse clusters loves Zookeeper. Not! Alexander will describe work he is leading to implement NuRaft directly in ClickHouse and eliminate the need for an external Zookeeper service to manage replication.

Plus we'll do the usual ClickHouse Q&A. Don't miss it for anything.
