Dealing with a life-threatening illness throws one off balance.
Everything you are going through has the opportunity to bring you to God.
Jesus in his Agony in the Garden experiences anticipatory grief, sorrow and dread at the prospect of his passion and death.
Christ teaches by example to pray to the Eternal Father and the Holy Spirit to gives us strength for the journey.
Prayer is food, comfort and spiritual intensive care for those of us overwhelmed with fear and the sense of being burden-‐ some and alone when we enter into our own agony in the Garden of Life Threatening Illnesses.
